Now that the NSFOC has convinced legislators to spread their misinformation and scare tactics, they are working hand-in-hand to pressure Midwest Generation to cease contract negotiations with District 204 (Midwest Gen along with AME are the two current owners of the land upon which Metea will be built).

If Midwest Generation is scared/threatened into backing out of the deal (and with Brach-Brodie no longer an option), the potential result is devastating: two high schools, middle school and high school overcrowding, and split shifts for D204 high school students. If this sounds like the exact opposite of what you voted for -– and these actions deepen your disdain for the NSFOC -- these legislators need to hear from you and the rest of the Silent Majority.

Here are the legislators who have decided to support the NSFOC (and in the process, are showing complete disregard for your vote for our much-needed 3rd high school). To show your support, we ask that you contact them as soon as possible to voice your support for the 3rd high school and the Eola site –- as well as your disappointment in their highly questionable motives for disregarding your vote.

Have you hugged you NSFOCFraud Rep today... Desperate is as desperate does... My guess someone in public relations at MidWest Gen heard that someone in Corp Real estate was about to put the company in a compromised position. All this grass roots silliness might work in school districts but is does not work in th board room. MidWest Gen will do what makes sense for its share holders. That is one thing I can be sure of. If selling does it wil sell. If not selling does it will not sell.

possible FUD on the Donovan deal - I couldn't see who put that out there in the meeting - could it have been our anti NSFOC - totally altruistic CM before they headed for the parking lot ?

Of course - I am sure that true blue group would never do that...

but also remember the response - the lawsuit has NOTHING to do with MACOM or Paul Lehman -- although some would like to try and link that together -- FUD - right there with split shifts that is being thrown out there again.

Enrollment isn't going up as fast as predicted in 2006. We have time to figure this out. How about a Frontier like campus at WVHS? And expand the Frontier Campus at NVHS. This is just a couple of options. There are a lot of people in this district. I'm sure we can come up with a reasonable solution.

What about the BB property? Even though the initial price may be higher than Eola, you still have to factor in wetland remediation, increased trans costs, etc. In the long run. BB would still be a cheaper option.

Um, how about letting the jrs. and srs. leave school grounds for lunch? 9:30 lunch problem/overcrowded cafeteria situation solved for free. Seems to work for D203.
