CFO's Precinct Committeemen

Thank you warriorpride for finding out that 2 CFO folks are precinct committeemen in Wheatland Township. I think this info is important enough for it's own thread.

Look at the Repub Committeemen for Wheatland 8 and 9.

Here was my reply:

I believe the precinct committeemen have access to voting records on the day of the vote. In other words, Ari and Chuck will receive updated lists throughtout the day of all registered republicans in their precincts and can see if they have voted. The thought being, they can start making phone calls to their NO! constituents a few hours before the polls close to ask them to remember to vote.
If you are a registered republican in Wheatland 8 or 9 they have access to your name, address, and phone number.

If you are a registered republican in Wheatland 8 or 9 and are unhappy about any of this, I suggest you complain loudly to the Wheatland Township Rebulican Organization and Joe Dunn.

One more comment b/c I don't want to freak people out -

They have access to your voting record, not how you voted.

They know IF you voted, not HOW. They have this info on election day.

Who updates their stuff in real time?

They go down to the polling place in each precinct and pick up reports. They have to physically go to the polling place.

Since it is a primary, I would guess each party would have privy to know who is voting or not.

All any of them could tell is if you pulled a Dem primary/Repub primary or poss.inde.

They don't know how or even if you voted.

I don't think that's allowed by law. There are very strict rules involved in the running of a precinct.

But remember it is a primary not a general. I have a problem with the state paying and holding elections for two private corporations.

Enlighten me please. What do you mean in regards to two private corporations? I'm not sure what you mean by this.

The state holds a primary election for the Republicans and Democrats that we pay for. Why should the state pay for this ? These two are private corporations in reality.

I'm an election judge in TG. I can assure you there will be no "funny stuff" in my polling place.
