Very good, did they give any indication of when BG and CB's interviews would run? Yeah, right My email to SH on Monday: If I ever get a response, I'll post it here.

Let's see...I'll start with the $7M overrun on the building, the imported Italian flooring used in the construction, the "making of national news" of NV due to the extravagance, the $57M spent in 2001 to convert two middle schools to freshmen centers versus building a third high school mainly as a result of the public had no appetite for another Taj Mahal, selling the public on building NV with the notion that it could be expanded to accommodate future growth....shall I go on? The district will spend $125M to build a new high school. Isn't it in our best interest to make sure that money is spent in the best possible way? What's wrong with expecting oversight of this extremely expensive project by the elected officials? Don't they have a fiduciary responsibility to the voters? Thus far, none of you have come up with a valid response as to why it's soooo bad for CV to look out for her constituents. I'm not trying to start a fight, however, I think it's important to point out that the figure for the freshman centers was 13mil, not 57. Actually, the figure was $57M because we had to build new middle schools to replace the middle schools that were converted to freshman centers. Had the conversion not taken place, there would not have been a need to build the new middle schools. I hate to beat a dead horse but I've heard so many people unknowingly throw around the $13M without understanding the fact that we had to build new schools to replace those taken away.

DPC,
We all have our dead horses to beat but your the only one who started beating the horse after its funeral.
The questions that you have have been addressed in this board prior to the referendum. You made your first post after referendum. If you do some digging you can find most of your answers.
The middle schools that have been built are in being used so they were not a waste of money.
I won't bother answering your posts that bring into question these old dead issues. I hope that no one interprets that to mean that I agree with you or there is no obvious counter points to your arguments. they are just old arguments that have been answered.
Find your answers by digging though the old posts.

Please, enough of this already. Who cares what was built and when! The point is that all the building that took place was for schools that are in use and full at this point. If we didn't build the freshman centers, we would have had to build a third high school then and still would have had to build more middle schools as we are still in need of more middle schools. The horse died so long ago that you are defaming its memory by kicking it over and over again. Stop, please!

Oh my God! You are so quick. I had to pick myself up off the floor to type this as I fell over laughing so hard. Thanks for a great pick-me-up so early in the morn.
