Thank you - hence my "rude" comment, which I did not really intend to be any ruder than the somewhat elitist suggestion that NV football (or all sports) be promoted to a conference with "better competition".

My intention was not to be "elitist", it was to be realistic. DPV conference offers a higher level of competition than Upstate Eight. Both schools would benefit from that.

I'd like to apologize for my comment regarding Waubonsie. My original comment was made to express an opinion on the competititive level of Upstate Eight. I used the NV vs. WV as an example because they had just played on Friday night. It honestly could have been any team, hence I was not specificially "picking on" Waubonsie (and why I said this was not a "slam" against WV).

I realize now that my comments were insensitive as there truly is a rivalry between NV and WV. My only excuse for ignorance is that my kids are still relatively young, so I'm only beginning to become in tune with the whole NV vs. WV rivalry.
