Some of those facts may come out in the discovery phase of the lawsuit. Typically, when does the discovery phase of the lawsuit begin? Depending on the nature of the infractions, it could come after the arrest and posting of bond j/k maybe

To Dara Hudson, For the last time.....White EAgle resident had NOTHING to do with the address/water debacle of yesteryear...it was the developer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most White Eagle residents have no idea that issue occured until they read ugly comments about it in the newspapers. Also, most White Eagle residents did not live here 12 years ago when the boundaries for NVHS were determined so blaming current residents for your anger about how that turned out is also unfair. I am sick and tired of the bashing of White Eagle when most residents here have had NOTHING TO DO WITH the actions of the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is it OK for some northern residents to continue with nonsense like this? And the million dollar questions: Is this mindset driving the site selection? Are the SB members and district trying to payback the north for all their past imagined grievances? Sadly , I think it is. Mark Metzger told a friend of mine who lives in White Eagle..."Well, White Eagle never should have gone to NVHS in the first place..." I truly believe there is "payback" at play here in many ways. I will state again, most residents WERE NOT HERE 12 years ago and have nothing to do with what occured, so please stop talking about all of the 'wrongs' of White Eagle when most residents don't even know what heck you are talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't put it past someone, in the area of personal agendas, to be on some mission to right a wrong from Kentucky.

Some of those facts may come out in the discovery phase of the lawsuit. Typically, when does the discovery phase of the lawsuit begin? Typically, it begins long before the trial. Discovery is when the opposing sides request documentation, take depositions, write interrogatories, etc. as a way of accumulating information to support their case and prove the other side is wrong. It is usually the longest process of the suit. ETA: And don't forget the always important hiring of just the right expert opinion.

I think that Sidley and Austin have always been involved - that is why we should never have gone into the condemnation suit with just Whitt Law - just my humble opinion. Look at the results so far - it is easy to extrapolate that we should not make any land purchases until the lawsuits are finalized. Unless of course, the school board chooses Brach-Brodie which is the action that they are requesting.

Let me also add some clarification to the Aurora vs. Naperville mailing address issue that is still confusing to many.
The DEVELOPER wanted all of White Eagle to have a Naperville mailing address even though half of White Eagle is in Naperville and half in is Aurora. The residents had NOTHING to do with this!!!!!
The Aurora half of White Eagle has all Aurora services; ie: water ,electric , and garbage pick up as well as Aurora library etc. The only difference is that it has a Naperville mailing address. Perhaps this was requested for postal reasons so that two carriers didn't have to handle one subdivision.. who knows...!! who cares!!!
The Naperville side of White Eagle has all Naperville services for the above mentioned items.
Not a big deal despite what those outside of White Eagle think is some big conspiracy to hide their Aurora roots. WE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS DECISION AND IT HAPPENED MANY YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!! GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!
Feel free to share this info with our green board friends.

I think year-round is worth considering too. I don't think the community would like it though. Of course, that hasn't stopped the SB in the past. I wonder how expensive it would be to implement. Bottom line is we don't know what Dash's view of that is, and what Dash wants, Dash gets. I do know how he feels about this...he's shared his opinions on it quite some time ago. But I'm not sharing them here or in any other public forum. The suspense is killing me. He doesnt share opinions, he just gives some really strong suggestions / mandates. The SOP is : "we mentioned it weeks ago and now we are voting - and you thought we were only suggeting it - oh Im sorry you must have misunderstood" Maybe he can help build the fences on our US borders too.

Nobody should have gone to NV - would that make everyone happy ?? Just build it and don't populate it. It wasn't designed correctly, cost too much, bad location, overcrowded, kids cant get on any clubs, parking sux, teachers aren't any good - who in their right mind would want to go there?
