OK, just to let all members know, there was no security problem, or breach, or accidental deletion. The board keeps detailed security logs and I checked them. There is a known bug in the proboards software where you can loose 20 pages of posts on a heavily trafficked thread. As a standard practice, recommended by proboards support, we will be locking, and continuing threads when they reach 50 pages from now on (yes, arch I believe the "Coutroom successes of District 204" thread is safe for now ) I have about 6 of the pages (52-58) That were lost from my cache. They will look funky (all from me with the poster name inline) but I'll restore them late when I'm a little less pissed off.

Well, that bug stinks. Does proboards give you direct mysql access? If so can we do a dump or backup of the DB or board to a file? From there I could piece things back together.
It's possible that the data is still in the database but not displayable. Any such functions like that available?
