April 13th Board Agenda Interesting

Admin getting a raise is that what is on the agenda??? Looks that way...... Did not know with 8 out of the top 10 admin in district 204 they needed raises. Actually roll backs would be more appropriate.

they will want a raise for the money they will save us on reneging on the teacher contract

This is something that has almost always been done AFTER the new board was seated. Someone must not trust all of those independent thinkers!

I was trying to post the agenda over the weekend, but I could not copy and paste. I noticed the salary item. Is part of that for non certified personel? I can't wait to see what they are looking for for the administrators salaries.

Isn't the Admin already higher paid than 203, and also in the top 3% in the state?

According to championnews.net - These are the figures for 2008

Leis (203) $227,395. He has a doctorate and 38 yrs experience. Out of the top 200 highest pd administrators he is ranked #70.

Daeschner (204) $262,716. He has a doctorate and 41 yrs experience. Out of the topp 200 highest pd. administrators he is ranked #18.

There are about 115 employees who earn over $100,000/yr. Again, these figures are based on 2008 salaries not 2009.

Thinking of dropping by the SB meeting tonite. Wanted to see the votes on the salaries and contract. whats the latest change order? I dont see why (given the enrollment #'s) that they couldnt have ceased with the change/expediate fees and just opening the school in fall of 2010. One year is not going to be the end of the world and it would save millions when we need it most!!!! WHY WHY WHY!!

Karen Lemanski left to go to 203. That means this list is old. Maybe they make even more now. Oh boy! These people grant themselves hefty raises.

Yes- There are several on this list who have left. This is the most current which is from 2008, so it
does not reflect any raises for the 2009 school year. Thechampion.net runs a year behind because they need to finalize the figures which are due in I think in October. The 2009 schedule should be coming out soon.
