And the negative comments were because he wasn't (past tense) doing enough for quick take. Like I have said in 3 other threads you have commented in, Dunn has worked hard in the last 2 months for quick take. So pro quick take people running an ad agianst Dunn makes no sense.

Like I have said in 3 other threads you have commented in, Dunn has worked hard in the last 2 months for quick take. So pro quick take people running an ad agianst Dunn makes no sense. Here is what I've said. Many people on this board have made statements criticizing Joe Dunn for not moving the quick take along as smoothly as they would have liked. Some of the comments have been extremely critical. How on earth can anyone tell (or speculate) as to where the Anti-Joe Dunn ads are coming from based on the following: 1. Many in favor of the quick take have criticized JD to no end. Many on this board. 2. The survey that Joe put out to residents came back 57% against Quick Take. The above do not immediately lead me to a conclusion as to whom is behind the negative spin. In fact, I'm lead to believe that it's those disenchanted with Joe Dunn that have posted that belief. You can assume that I'm "affiliated" with a particular group but you are so wrong.

What difference does it make who ran the ad?
I would have to presume that it was people who aren't happy with him.
What are you people afraid of? Free speech?
People should be free to make up their minds about him as well as the school board members regardless of what is printed in a newspaper or anywhere else.
It's amazing to me that some of you on this board want to control all the "spin".
Like educated people can't think for themselves? I wasn't at all moved by what JHB said - I didn't even read all of it. She (nor anyone else) thinks for me.

So do we control JHB ? and maybe Sara Hookers last article also. The issue is the truth is coming out on a great many issues.... as we knew it would, as far as the ad, those who ran it will have to eventually own up to it, as maybe they should have before they ran it. Free speech is great, but the ramifications afterwards belong to the speaker.

What ramifications?
The paper is full of opinions. Some you obviously like (JHB) and others you don't - like this ad.
I'm sorry, Doctor, but you don't run the world.

So quick to peg someone into a group. So wrong.

Lacy, An observation of mine in reading your posts....you are extremely critical of almost all posts...so I am curious what are YOUR views: Were you in favor of the 3rd high school? Are you satisfied with the existing boundaires? Are you satisfied with how the district has educated our children over the past 10 years or so? I am interested in where you are coming from?
