Wow that parcel is bigger than I thought....somehow I pictured it right behind( East of) Bobaks abutting 75th st. BTW is that 203 or 204? It is all 203 on the north side of Plainfield-Naper - I am the first house south of Plainfield Naper -- hence 204. The thing is a portion either side of each lake is park district -- you can see where the single house in on the property they owned - in person you can see where the property in question starts and stops - townhomes will be horrid there - you can also see what I mean by saying that it is different than most parcels in that it is surrounded by already existing PD land - you can also see why no one area claims it - it border the Fields townhomes - almost up to the Field single family -- then on Naper-Plainfield on the 203 side it is a small string of home just south of Green Acres -- Hobson West caddy corner from the lower pnd- and the uppoer pond is another sub division that leads right up to the garden plot area etc... so it 'belongs' to many and all at the same time. The people from all over the area come to fish off the pier they build on the lower pond/lake.

hmm, how much they get for that land /house? Talk about a McMansion, two ponds of your own! That's where everybody goes to watch the fireworks on the 4th, right? Been there many times myself. Heck, I think my wife was a juvenile delinquent on that pier in high school. She went to Cental and lived in Hobson West.

I think my wife knows what it went for, but the heirs did not want to live there so they sold -- that is one nice piece of property

Oh wait, maybe that land is actually worth something I can only imagine -- a pond on either side, walking distance to Ribfest - mature trees -- it really is a nice piece of property. A little busy traffic wise on 2 sides however.
