No it's meant to read that they're looking for a replacement who would stay with the district for several years to oversee the projects underway - meaning someone who wouldn't come to the district for two years and then retire.
Sorry for the confusion. We'll make sure that it doesn't read in such a confusing way next time.

Glad to see the right outcome at least...I remember Howie saying at meetings that he wouldn't be involved in the opening of the school but would be watching as an interested observer or something to that effect...but things can and do change.
