So who else got this besides Knight? No one on this board until today?
I didn't see it in the Sun or the DH.

I'm actually going to give PL the benefit of the doubt and think that he did not send this. He normally just takes an ad out in the paper to get his message out. Someone maybe is trying to create some election FUD by using his name?
eta - oh and I just saw that this isn't on the Macom website? That confirms, for me anyway, that PL didn't write this.

So the second version of the e-mail is different from the first? They look to be a little different here and there. Because I know you want this site to be viewed as very fair and respectful, I think it would be best to not "clean it up". Thanks lacy, but it was the same and posted 4 times making it unreadable. I've removed the duplicate posts.

This is even more fishy - I guess whoever is sending this out can't decide what the emails that were supposed to be sent out on April 4 were supposed to look like.

Sounds like the title of this topic "FALSE Rumors and Representations" might turns out to be self-describing.

Hello- Don't you all remember that Macom was a huge supporter in past referendums? He has donated thousands of dollars to past referendums. So you call him on that? So it's great when he is donating to the cause, otherwise forget it? Sorry. I think his donations in the past represent not only his willingness to better this district, but also to lock in his place with the district. Maybe by his campaign donations, the SB would look the other way about future developments (just a little). You can't have it both ways. Yes, we will take your money to further our mission and then not be expected to repay that huge donation.

They gave money to the committee that was for the referendum. Big difference. If it is the way you said, then kudos to the SB for not letting PL's donation in favor of the referendum affect the boundary for the 3rd HS.

Yes Bob - You are correct however, there you are splitting hairs. I've been there. I've been there back to the Bob Biedron days when they were so excited about donations to help fund their campaign - especially the hefty donation from Macom. Beidron and Siebold were in direct contact with the SB & SD. Give me a break.

Wait, so you are mad that the SB didn't let PL's donation to the committee in favor of referendums affect their decision making?
Do you work for Blago?

I'm not on anyone side. All I am saying is that you can not have it both ways. Take the donation -or not. Macom has contributed a lot of $$$ to various referendum campaigns. Now, you could not care less because he is not playing in your terms - the BB terms.

Confused - What are you asking?
Blago? - Oh please! You can do better than that Bob!
