I felt a poll coming on....... If you think it's ok for some sports...name them. I will only name the ones I know for sure would be competitive day 1 with a huge % of club players from an area that is a hotbed for recruiters: Girls & Boys Volleyball Girls & Boys Soccer Now I have had 2 parents that are heavily involved in Girls softball tell me they also feel the same way. I will let other parents who are more involved in other sports speak for them - I have my hunch the list should also include: Swimming / track / tennis among others but would not want to say for sure on any. And my vote went for 'some sports' as my list for no would include Football, and any others parents who are involved with to a much greater degree than me would feel the same way about also. btw -- thanks for posting the poll |

I have learned a great deal from this board in both school board and other matters. Doc makes a very good point about the individual sports which will give us Mustang fans something top puff up our chests about. Sadly I am a football Dad and that sport will be the downer at MVHS. Still we have alot to look forward to. I am going to have to get familier with these other sports. Go Mustangs!!!

There are no bubbles to vote for "yes, some sports" or "no for all sports"
Can the admin please fix this so that the vote is not.....fixed???

I'd find it hard to believe that the admins would have a function to deny somebody the right to vote on a board poll. Why don't you create a poll and see if you can vote? I'd do that before I start screaming the way that you are. Then you can explain what you find to the rest of the board members. |

Whether I voted with one click or two? The message clearly stated the I was "Not allowed to vote in this poll" and not "sorry, you have already voted" I do not believe that the SB admin or any other readers of this board would like to "ask" people to just tell thier vote let alone be denied a true vote so as to keep the vote fair and balancedl. I am afriad that this board will deny me access to it for speaking out, as I have seen many people post and then have them privately email me on my own .com website that they had been kicked off for not agreeing with everybody here. I am certain that this district and this board does not want to be known for being exclusionary |

Harry, the admins didn't write the software that runs the board so they can't debug the error message that I'm aware of. You probably found a bug in the software. Good job.
So, what's your vote?
You certainly typed up one side and down the other about some big conspiracy that doesn't exists but I failed to actually see you type your opinion about varsity sports.
