ok, I buy that. Is that how it worked at the boundary meetings? I never went to one because I didn't (and still don't) care where my kids end up. People asked questions and the board responded? How did they decide who answered or did residents asked questions to specific board members? Um no - the boundary meetings were informational meetings set up for that specific purpose -- scheduled SB meetings protocol allows 3 minutes per speaker - there is NO response. That's what I thought. That's why I don't get people thinking they are going to go tomorrow night and ask questions and get them all answered. It just doesn't work that way. Unfortunately.

From what I understand, White Eagle should be concerned, I understand something equal to a tire factor will be put next to the school to get the price at BB where they want. Hopefully, our sb will not allow big developers at BB to direct what happends. At least Macom is easily understood. That is utterly ridiculous.

Again, it's public. That's why residents are saying "hey, what about this other property...and the answer from the SB has been" No discussion, nothing - this is there words, not anyone else's. And the fear is less of a school to fit in smaller property for more money. That's the buzz around my area of Aurora

From the responses I got for 3 of the members, they are looking at all the properties...even St. Johns (This was from M2). While I am not confident they will change sites (go north) I am still holding on to a glimmer of hope.

Thus, if BB is better option, then let's be able to compare the two equally. I think the SB just needs to hear that residents care about it. I think they do care about it too (SB), but it's only right that the public know the difference.

hmmmm maybe not a tire factory, but think about it; something has to be done to fit into the budget....thus, some swap or some moving of the pieces may be required. which means something not known will come in

Bob, let's get back to M2 - what's your opinion of him...?

Bob, let's get back to M2 - what's your opinion of him...? Smarter than CV but that is not saying much. This isn't a M2 thread so I am going to stop.

Email is nothing more than what's happening on these boards; people scared of revealing their identity. Thus, it's not valid. And it can be dismissed. That's what the M2 has done so artfully; he's a likeable guy - probably a good guy to visit with and have a cocktail with. Great personality. But, at the end of the day behind that smile is a bit of authority to be reckon'd with that people cannot challenge. this guy is good...

True, not an M2 thread, but I would venture to say that this decision is in his hands. JC and M2 will make this decision. Period. CV is inmaterial.

Sounds like a great photo op & easy news story for the local "reporters". Gee, I hope they provide accurate & complete information in their story - oh wait, why would they start now? Oh, I get what you mean (sarcasm). The Naperville Sun has done a fabulous job of neutrally reporting this issue. Both papers have missed the boat as far as I'm concerned. Many, many interested residents with opinions all over the place, but, soft reporting. In my opinion, at least the Herald is making an attempt to stay on to of the situation. Both need to pay more attention and give us some news in my opinion. The sun is totally throwing softballs out. IMO, The Naperville Sun is a turd newspaper with selective hearing and even more selective eyesight when it comes to writing stories.

You don't survive 12 or 18 years on the SB unless you are smart : )
