That's the federal government's mantra... I work for DuPage...who is looking at laying off over 100 people from my office On the DuPage County budget cuts... I am steamed with Springfield over this....Springfield said "yes" to the deep pockets of Big Tobacco and "no" to us asking them to allow us to raise the cigarette tax. resulting in cuts in public safety no less (Sheriff's office, State's atty) Details here todays Beacon News www.suburbanchicagonews.com/beaconnews/news/606275,2_1_AU17_COUNTY_S1.article Hang in their wvhsparent, and pass the word that many of us Du Page Countians do NOT want this to go through!
