Why do you guys do that - you are soooooo condecending to people. There are many residents in our district who have lived here a very long time, not over extending themselves just getting older who may not be able to keep there homes due to the taxes here. They don't have the "Mic Mansions", the SUV's etc. Well maybe because their houses have appreciated and not due to tax rates rising is the reason why they can't afford the taxes. People get priced out of areas all the time. That's called a free market. I guess these same people will sell their house for what they paid for it. I know one family that lived downtown for a very long time. Paid 30K, sold for 800K and moved to Texas.

Yeah, Bob. That's what I'm going to do. Do some of you guys ever stop and think about your condescending attitudes? Every time someone differs from your opinions they get slammed. To be honest, I'm getting tired of debating every single issue. It seems as if some of the posters on this board are just looking for others to support their opinion and tell each other how right they are. Well I'm not going to do that and to be honest, I get tired of getting shot down by others every time I try. I'm ready to move on and try the Naperville potluck blog. The persons posting there seem to be much more representative of the real 204 community not just SB 204 backers. Do you wonder why so many people fall off this board from posting? They get sick of having to stand up and fight every single time. What's the point of posting my opinion/statement since many of you don't ever care to hear it? Stand there and support BB all you want but get ready for a long drawn out legal process and a cost we can't afford. I'm sad that I'm being led away from sharing on this board. If you don't like high taxes why wouldn't someone do that? If you can get a great house in East Aurora, get a lower tax rate, and actually save money by sending your kid to a private school, why wouldn't you do that?

I have not figured out how to start a new thread; sorry.
Did anyone with children at Scullen hear about the proposed new subdivision which was/is soon to be approved by the planning commission? This subdivision would feed into the already overcrowded Scullen and is being built by Crestview builders. Does anyone have any further information on this?

Is there a sign with a case number on the property?

It cuts right into TG ok, here's what I got; neighbor's wife called my wife and gave the following info: The proposed subdivision is PC Case 1683/ Hidden Creek Subdivision. It is a proposed 20 lot subdivision on the east side of 248th , south of 103rd. The land was annexed into Naperville and is to be discussed by the commission on November 6th. The neighbor indicated that this info was obtained from the Scullen November newsletter on Page 6. Is this something we should be concerned about? I honestly don't know. What do others with kids at Scullen think about this? I believe 'lacy', and 'casey' have indicated they have kids at Scullen, what do you make of this?
