Why all these closed door sessions? What about public comment? Oh yea - I forgot. They put that on the agenda until after their closed door meeting. So the next meeting is in two weeks? As WVHS said TICK TOCK! bc - Are you hoping to use public comment time to influence the site location or the decision to build the school? I would hope that the sb would not be heavily influenced by the few who show up to speak instead of the thousands that voted.

It's called 'The Morning After' ballot. The editors of the Sun already said that a third high is necessary. Maybe it's just the newspaper is doing a poor job of informing its readers. Have you read the blog at The Sun site? Loads of misinformed folks. They are probably Sun readers as every article they write is rife with misinformation. Like that Tim West opinion piece that stated that the property the district condemned was zoned retail.

Wonder why no official "Land Update" communication after last night's meeting ... ? I was kind of expecting one - last one was dated 10/26.

Maybe so, but it's too late now. One cannot go back and ask for a do-over on the ref vote. Too bad. The school board got their do-over when they didn't like the results the first time. Why can't the rest of us?

Why can't the rest of us? Probably has to do with that silly obstacle called 'law'. Any failed measure can go back through the motions to get back onto a Ballot. Once a vote is certified, that's it.
