I wouldn't want to send my kids there so I wouldn't want to send anyone else's kid either. I would be thrilled to stay at WV. I just wish the travcks weren't there. I think that there are a lot of northerns who will be extremenly disappointed with the site when they find out where it is. The Biggest complaints that I hear about MV is coming from those who are afraid of having to go there.

Look at where the school is actually going to be. I don't know what MCC is?? So I guess I'm not from there. Once again, if the people whose kids are going there are comfortable with it, I don't see the problem. The SB and city have been working directly with the current owners gathering info. I would find that more legitimate than what parents dig out honestly. There are high voltage lines that run at the north, west edge of SB that buzz and people have talked about them for years ... wondering if there would be long term effects. Maybe it's a different thing, I don't honestly know. But I know those appear to be the same people who are sending their kids and not mumbling a word about them. I just don't believe the SB has not done its due diligence with this site. How many Northerners are complaining about the site? It appears (I could be wrong) that its the southerners who are complaining - and those kids won't even be there. How odd. According to some people, we Watts people are now 'Northerners' and I sure as heck would not want to send my kids to that place. You can put the school 10 miles from my house on safer land and I won't complain one darn bit. You can bus them past 2 other high schools to get them to that safer location and again, I won't complain one tiny bit about it. There are safety hazards in and around that site. *THAT* is my problem with it.
