I thought they did a very thorough job explaining why WE and TG moving to WV. 204 Family, I don't think there is one person who prefers the Eola site over BB, including the SB. It's what we're left with. Well, I would guess that the three northern grade schools do... yep- dancing in the streets so if we follow that pattern - we neeed 7 high schools to make everyone happy

It's what we're left with. It's what they caused - its called accountability and if someone working for me acted like they have, in the real world its called lack of performance and getting the boot. sounds like you dont know what that is. Confucios say: may you find much lead in your sashimi whaaaat?

It might seem logical to some, but if kids can hear the roar of the crowd celebrating a touchdown through their bedroom window, and they can see the NV colors at the grocery store, post office, and gas station, if they are actually going to attend NV for a year and then be bussed somewhere else, it doesn't feel logical.
School districts always claim they want "engaged learners" and believe in "shared leadership", but in reality it's really "the sage on the stage" in 204: Don't do as I do; do as I say.
Oz: ("Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. . . ")

")[/quote We all agree it is not a great situation. However 2.5 middle schools had to be moved out of NVHS. What is the solution? We can hear the game from WE, too. Maybe River Run - surely they can't hear it from there. It is going to stink the first few years.

You are missing my point.
My point is that no one should move. If you are that close to a school, if you grew up taking swimming lessons there, your babysitter was a Wildcat cheerleader, your youngest brothers' favorite colors are blue and gold, etc., that is the school you should attend.
My point is - if you are going to send 3,900 kids there, why does it matter if you send 4,000? Was a bad site, bussing, and dissention the answer?

Where, oh where is Topher's horse? I'm not sure where the front end of it is, but as for the back side - I believe it resides at the Howie Crouse Center these days

Oh, that was funny. We need a way to be able to indicate approval on this board.

Oh, that was funny. We need a way to be able to indicate approval on this board. Can't we just wave like JC?

We could send the approval home in backpacks and include a memo that says all city officials and the park district do not acknowledge waving.

Are we just going to fill the new school with kids who haven't had older siblings in HS? NV does not have room for all of the kids who would be attending there in the coming years.
