So I found out the AME contract got signed Tuesday night yet land testing is not done. Makes no sense and today's Herald article confirms it. Rush rush rush. Yeah, I heard that too. I was thinking they were going to annouce it at the beginning of the meeting. But that would have very much added the gasoline to the fire.

Where do you get the "3 out of 4 people" information. I'm unaware of a district-wide survey. Its the unscientific Sun Poll from the other day: An unscientific poll conducted on The Sun's Web site indicated that respondents unhappy with the proposed boundaries outnumbered those satisfied with the recommendation by a 3-1 margin. Of 1,217 votes cast between Wednesday and Monday, 914 voters said they were unhappy with the boundaries, and 303 said they were happy with them. key word: unscientific - and, what was said at the SB meeting prior to the boundary meeting: most polls & feedback tend to lean towards the negative feedback (i.e. the vocal minority) I'd say that the 40% of the district that goes to NV probably is OK with all this. And, of WV and MV, probably more than 50% (and possibly closer to 75-80%) at each is OK, so my unscientific guess is more like AT LEAST 60% of 204 is OK with this, and it's likely closer to 80% or more

That's just it - the entire situation has changed since the referendum vote. We are not getting what we voted for. If people want to call this "entitlement" knock yourselves out. It's exatcly what we voted for....a 3rd HS......Period........ It's not what we were told we were going to get......agreed. And I won't forget it at the next vote! Hope others don't either.

Friend in Harris Farm thrilled about new school and big advocate is now pssed to learn her kids will be split with one in 9th and one in 11th and no grandfathering. Working mom with traveling spouse. Not happy anymore.

I think the next set of elections which are really not that far off will be telling. I also think the lengths to which the Admin/SB need to go to get the next ref passed will be telling as well. I do not have a prediciton but my guess is the process will be interesting.

And, of WV and MV, probably more than 50% (and possibly closer to 75-80%) at each is OK That is a very optimistic number for MV. There are folks in Longwood and Brookdale that are concerned about the environmental problems. Watts, Cow, Owen W, Gom E want NO part of that school so they are likely 100% anti.

Not happy anymore. these kinds of splits and other kinds of splits were going to happen, regardless of the MV location - it's just matter of which groups of people are impacted

I too think 80% would be a little high, but think it probably is in the range of 60 to 75%.

They are the lucky ones.

I don't know how Glawe and Metzger can look people in the eye. The arrogance needs to stop and focus back on the children in 204.

I hope our brilliant legal team put an "out" clause in the AME contract that we can back out if MWGEN can't be cleaned up.
