The newly expanded budget is $141.M, which is $16.8 M higher than the original referendum amount of $124.6M. Will MVHS come within the new budgeted amount?

Has anyone gotten an answer to 1) what each parcel is costing the district. (MWG portion/AME portion)? I cannot get a response from the board on how much we are paying for each individual parcel. They have to know, there are two seperate sellers.
Also 2) what the appraised value of each site is? I would assume we had an appraisal of each site done, to make sure we are not overpaying for either.
Perhaps someone on this board, who is getting responses form the SB, could ask as well and have a little better luck than I.

If WVHSP is correct that AME paid 70,000/acre in 2004 and now we're paying 191,000/acre
that is an increase of 173% in the value of the land in 4 years. What's the value of the land?

Is that a certified appraisal value or did that come from somewhere on your body?

Is that a certified appraisal value or did that come from somewhere on your body? It's what MWGEN should be paying us to take their documented fear of environmental liability away from them. Maybe fear is the wrong word.. potential Financial detriment to the company. Events that could negatively impact the financial strength of the company.. pick anyone you want.

So let me get this straight, you didn't want to over pay for the BB site, but it's OK to overpay for the MWG site?
And I am not saying we are overpaying for MWG. I would just like to see an appraisal and a cost breakdown for the parcels.

Is that a certified appraisal value or did that come from somewhere on your body? From the ole noggin.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_market_valueFair Market Value (FMV) is a term in both law and accounting that is based on the economics term of "market value." It is also a common basis for assessing damages to be awarded for the loss of or damage to the property, generally in a claim under tort or a contract of insurance. A fair market value is often an estimate of what a willing buyer would pay to a willing seller, both in a free market, for an asset or any piece of property. If such a transaction actually occurs, then the actual transaction price is usually the fair market value. Note that the opinion of people that are not interested in buying or selling an asset has little meaning, because they are not active in the market. Thus, "market value" (which is the same for everyone in the market) is not identical to the "intrinsic value" that different individuals may place on the same asset based on their own preferences and circumstances.

I would just like to see an appraisal and a cost breakdown for the parcels. Yup, and that was based on having to pay 257k/acre or more. And as we learned it would have been a lot more..... and No I do not think they overpaid for the AME site. Did you try and ask the SD for a copy of the appraisal?

see my above post, I have not gotten any response to any of my questions. That's why I asked for someone who is getting responses to ask,
If they are responding to you, perhaps you could ask?
Was this "an offer too good to refuse"?
