Any truth to the rumor I heard that there have been some environmental issues discovered on the North school site? Honestly not trying to stir anything up but heard there was a M2 email stating something to that fact.

Have you emailed him? He is fairly good about getting back to you.

At the JAN 22 board meeting they said the Phase II would be complete within 2 weeks yet I've heard nothing about the results and it's going on 4 weeks now.

I have data from their consumption/production/stocks logs that shows 609 barrels of DFO missing in 1993 from their DFO storage tank.
1 barrel = 42 gallons.
Do the math.
Maybe they found where it went.

Arch, I don't know why you're freaking out about 14,616 missing gallon of fuel.

Arch, I don't know why you're freaking out about 14,616 missing gallon of fuel. Obviously it's not a problem because I sent this data to Dash on 1/24, and to KB and DH on 1/27 and have heard nothing back from ANY of them regarding this specific issue. Go figure. I didn't even see a 'memo' in the boundary packet about it.

Arch, I don't know why you're freaking out about 14,616 missing gallon of fuel. If that much fuel was spilled it shouldn't be hard to find it.

Not if it's in the dirt and they don't publish the Phase II results. By the way, where are those Phase II results? Weren't we promised we'd have them 2 weeks ago at the MVHS site special meeting? We're now 1 month into this project and already 100% behind schedule - I predict a 2011 opening.

Could be that the land is frozen and is harder to get samples and then those samples are sent away to a laboratory and you are waiting on the mercy of the lab to send the results. Then the engineering firm has to take that information and put it into a report.

Then the engineering firm has to take that information and put it into a report. No, that could not be the case, it is just as easy to take core samples in the winter. If the delay is on a lab, they should simply say so. If it's due to preparation of a report, Daeschner should have factored it in before flapping his yap on something he is not well versed in.

Maybe they just realized that those pesky gas turbines haven't been removed yet, and they won't really know if the site is clean until after the turbines are gone

Until anything is said, we are simply in a day-by-day slip of the most important commitment (that of guaranteed environmental safety and remidiation) and only communicated milestone on the new property.
