Happy New Year to everyone on the boards!
We started off last year with a bang, passing the referendum in the first 3 months, and quieting the CRAFT deceivers. However, we seemingly ran out of gas and it seems like nothing was accomplished in the last 9 months of last year, and now we in 204 are in danger of missing the opening date of the new school, or possibly not even getting the land to build it.
I believe that now that the New Year is here, we must take the opportunity to make sure things get done before it is too late! I'm not sure what can be done, but we must try to think of something.
I have a cousin and a friend who both live in the St. Charles district who are both dealing with the consequences of failing on their referedum. They are very active now, but it might be too late for them.
Let us not make the same mistake.

Without land or a light at the end of the tunnel compounded by the decreasing kindergarten count for 2006, building a new high is deeply in jeopardy............
what to do with the horribly overcrowded position predicted for fall of 2008 if there is no land or construction in progress ??
where is the school boards' plan b for land?? housing the students??? etc...
there is trouble a brewin that no one talks about on this sight!!!

Ann how do you address the fact the the 1st grade class increased by a huge amount to make it now the second largest class in the system?
It is funny that there are people that post here are from CFO or support CFO but are too embarrassed to admit here.
