Senior defensive tackle Mike Ware, a graduate of Waubonsie Valley and a transfer from Wheaton College, earned the team's Most Improved Player award at a banquet earlier this month. The 6-foot-3-inch, 280-pound Ware played in 12 games this season and recorded 13 tackles, three for loss and two sacks.
