They say NV is 450,000 sq. ft and built to hold 3000, and this one is 460,000 sq. ft. built to hold 3000. They look like they're identical. But I think we spent more...

NVHS was modeled after a HS in Minn.

Does anyone know if the SB has made any statements or decided what the new school will be like? Will it be like NV or do they plan to scale back?

Does anyone know if the SB has made any statements or decided what the new school will be like? Will it be like NV or do they plan to scale back? The quotes were based on using the Gold campuses as a model.

I didn't know where to put this since it was a joint venture between NV and WV. I decided to put it here because it was held at NV. It alternates each year. Last year it was at WV. Yesterday was the Solo and Ensemble contest/festival for the music department students. The students prepare musical presentations and perform for a judge. They are critiqued. Each judge can choose the acts that, in Mr. Staley's words, "Knocked their socks off", to play in the Honors Recital that takes place in the evening of the contest. The kids that are chosen to play in this Recital are the best of the best musicians in this district. They were absolutely impressive! All the kids that participated in this activity thoughout the day are to be comended. They have put in hours of practice soley on the songs that they performed, many preparing since the end of summer, let alone all the time they spend practicing outside of the preparation for this contest. Let's give them a hand!
