Mr. Raczak from Hill to Watts as principal 2008

Well as the news / changes keep coming in 204, Hill parents just received a note from Principal Mike Raczak @ Hill Middle School that leaves me with mixed emotions.

My daughter has one more year at Hill MS so I am sad he will not be there for that year, but I am thrilled he is moving to our home area ES May Watts. Mr. Raczak was the principal at Hill MS 11 years ago when my oldest started there, and for the entire period I could not say enough good things. I could fill a page here with the respect I have for Mr Raczak as a principal and leader. I believe the school embodies his leadership combined with that of the Hill community. I sure hope they choose someone as strong to backfill - and am sorry Mrs. Kelly ( Grainger MS starting this year) was not still there to replace him.

Glad to hear that, she is a very good person and knew she'd be an excellent fit at Grainger. She has a good rapport with the kids and remembers more kids than I thought possible. She still remembers my oldest by name and remembers where she sat in her classroom, as we got to talk to her at a Watts / Granger volleyball game this past season.

This can be one of the problems with poaching, it usually ripples throughout the organization, causing more than just one opening's disruption.

I think the current Gombert principle had Hill Asst Principle experience. Not positive. I wonder if he would be candidate?

Personally, I'd like to see Mr. Davenport bumped up (If that's something he would be willing to do).
