This may be old news but just showed up in the Beacon a couple days ago. WV has an absolutely awesome music program and incredibly talented students.

Waubonsie Valley High School musicians set a new school record with 27 student musicians selected to represent the school at the Illinois Music Educators All-State Music Conference in Peoria last month.
This is the highest number of All-State musicians selected from any high school in the state of Illinois this year.
The following students were selected: Band: Becca Michels, Stacey Stoltz, Jeff Vath, Andrew Johnson, Tony Greif and WonBeom Paik; Choir: Erin Christian, Jamie White, Kelly De Vries, Leslie Smith, Tricia Greiner, Alex Huh, Casey Fuess, Garrett Lutz, Josh Greiner, Patrick Misdom and Sean Roe; Orchestra: Abigail Sefton, Gabrielle Kim, Gina Eygenhuysen, Rebecca Tran, Sonam Dodhia, Vincent Lee, Kiran Kumararaj, Lingfei Zhang, Robert Wieland and Sahil Pandya.
