State of Illinois Report Cards for Indian Prairie School District 204 and each of its schools are now available on the district's web site at www.ipsd.org/schools_report-cards.asp
The information reported shows our students continue to perform well above State averages. Test scores are at an all-time high across the district. As a district, 91 percent of our students met or exceeded State standards on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) for the combined reading, math and science tests.
Other highlights include:
~ 95 percent of elementary school students met or exceeded State standards in math.
~ 92 percent of middle school students met or exceeded State standards in math.
~ 94 percent of seventh graders met or exceeded State standards in science.
~ At the high school level, ACT scores increased and gains were made in reading and science on the Prairie State Achievement Exam.
The Report Card also includes information on the district's finances. Indian Prairie continues to provide excellent educational opportunities and deliver solid test scores while being fiscally responsible.
~ The district's operating expense per student is $8,616, which is lower than the State average of $9,099.
~ The district operates with fewer administrators than the State average. The Student to Administrator Ratio for the district is 383 to 1 and the State average is 222 to 1.
~ The district's average administrator salary of $98,541 is lower than the state average of $100,570.
