How do you guys think WE and TG would vote today? Guess we won't know. And no, you can't know because you won't know why people voted the way they did. Is it boundaries, school, don't need school, whatever. But based on comments on this board, I would guess the no's would have it. Can someone explain to me how you would be any different today than Brookdale was 2 years ago? Anyone can see this discussion is about boundaries.... I thought you've been saying it isn't.

You kept me way past my bedtime yesterday. I understand your point. I really don't like talking about individual subdivisions because it is generalizing and not everyone votes for the same reason. I do think it is great that TG and WE did vote yes. I personally am saddened BD voted as they did, but they did express their opinions in a vote rather than a lawsuit. But I remember that lovely boundary decision night in 2006 and there were some people that made comments as they were walking out of the door that they would support going to MV at BB as long as they weren't going to WV. It was more like MV was the lesser of two evils. Point I"m trying to make, is let's get over this north vs. south thing and move on. Let's focus on getting the school in a good safe financially sound place. We have gotten off track of the thread.

Not a discussion about boundaries for me. Its about a group created in the north called NSFOCFraud that has slandered the heck out of subdivisions, individuals, state senators. It is about op ed writers saying horrible unfounded things about subdivisions, it is about PTA presidents saying horrible things. One gosh darn slanderous LTE after another. It is about people taking down license plates in parking lots. And now you want to try and defend it as WE/TG would voted exactly the same way now. Honestly you must be kidding me. I am a pretty low key guy but there is absolutely no excuse for this behavior.

Good question as who really wanted out of WVHS isn't it ? I'm all for a safe, fiscally responsible site too - AME ain't it - sorry.

I can't seem to link back to a prior post, but what I would like to say that PTA presidents take positions about such things as referenda, boundaries that affect their school, etc., but they do so representing the will of the membership. By stepping out and chastising a neighborhood, which, I might like to add. nobody from any other PTA has done, IMO a PTA president would be abusing and misusing their position.

It was more like MV was the lesser of two evils. All I could hear on the way out of that meeting in 2006 was swearing from Orange shirt wearers from Brookdale. And then on that night after the successful YES vote (despite Brookdale's 81 percent against), I heard the sound of crickets chirping outside and a cool rush of air on that March night, BUT ACTUALLY it was the sound of some Brookdale Orange SprayPainters vandalizing the garages in White Eagle so that the GRADE SCHOOL kids walking to school would be subjected to profanity and lewd pictures the next morning!! If there is a move back to BB to save our district next week, I CAN GUARANTEE YOU that there will be police watching for these spraypainters this time around and you may be surprised whose faces you see on the COPS TV show the week after that.

I also remember when I was shaking Bradshaw's hand after the 06 meeting, hearing the Brookdale residents threatening him. I was actually a little frightened leaving the meeting.

I tell you this is what really concerns me about the personal finger pointing going on against residents and elected state officials. I think some groups have acted classy and stuck to their issues and some well I wonder about future allegations of mob action.

I am a pretty low key guy but there is absolutely no excuse for this behavior. You are perfectly right to argue about present actions. I think that is more relevant than past actions and thoughts and how people voted two years ago. I think the n-fraud website is just as dispicable as NSFOC's. I think some people's comments in the paper and LTE's are horrible slander against TG and WE and the license plate thing is way over the top. It sickens me. I just see it being repeated on this board. The last upteen comments on here are about BD, or SB or whatever and I guess it's OK to label them all the way you want but boy, do you get fiesty when the shots come at the SW folks. THis isn't productive. North vs. southwest. N-fraud vs. NSFOC. Wronged citizens of 204 vs. School board idiots. BB vs. 204. I feel like I am in WW III. I just wish the finger pointing at subdivisions would stop and we can all focus on the school. We've got bigger fish to fry (focusing on lawsuits and getting a good place to put our school) than on what subdivision did what to whom.
