I was at the meeting WE HOC. Very disappointing and badly run. Just questions with with little answers. It was amazing how uninformed the people were at that meeting. One brave lady did make statements that WE would make WV a really great school. I really admired her though the rest of the room heckled her. After everything that has gone on and all the information that has been put forward, there are alot of people out there (and I am sure not just in WE) that still don't know what in the Hell is going on. One thing though; the plans are that WE wears white teeshirts for Tuesdays meeting like Brookdale wore orange. I wonder what color TG will be wearing.

The reason they were heckling her is that she was standing in the back of the room and yelling out random spastic comments while someone else had the floor. Please do not imply that WE meeting participants were shooting her down because she was promoting WVHS..that is a negative spin that perpetuates those who hate WE and cannot move past it. She also commented how the AME is so great and how good of a deal we got on the land

You are right Eagle she was not shouted down. I stand corrected. I was on the other side of the room and the crowd was respectful. My admiration was that she wasn't afraid to voice an opinion that was very unpopular. But as I stated my disgusted in that the people in attendance seemed to be just understanding the facts on the eve of the boundry vote. There was one woman in front of me who said she had just moved here a year ago and asked numerous questions like this was the first she heard of it. But I expected to hear more in depth information and not a question hour with very little in the way of answers. Tonight is going to be nasty. I hope you are one of the speakers for WE. But you are right, I stand corrected.

I didn't leave with the impression that the white t-shirt thing was on. Someone compared it to the orange shirt thing and I thought it was off. I will wear my usual whatever.
