I have felt that the word 'entitled' was better used to describe some people from the north who have felt they were ENTITLED to a new school ever since NVHS was built. Out of curiousity, how long have you lived in this district? since 1992. And?

I lived in Lake Bluff and had we stayed there my kids would have gone to Lake Forest HS. Very different from NV and WV. They spend over $19,000/year per HS student for starters. There is also not nearly the socioeconomic and ethnic mix we have throughout 204. What is your point exactly??

Never had to face boundary changes ever in my life. I too wish I had moved to 203. I moved after voting to the freshmen centers and listening to the SB that we would not need a 3rd HS. Thought for awhile about moving into 203 and wished we did.

ACT and SAT scores. ETA: competent school boards. Rank the school boards...Who is Number 1,2 and 3.,,you didn't say which school board you experienced in the NS. I don't believe a good SB is a direct correlation ALONE to ACT and SAT scores. And finally, you didn't comment on the ritzy neighborhood,,,,,which town is 'tops' is your opinion?? You are cracking me up ru4real. If I had my choice of "ritzy" neighborhood to live in, it most certainly wouldn't be Naperville. Honestly, I'd move back to the neighborhood we came from prior to moving to the 204. Not a "ritzy homes" neighborhood at all, yet a good school board and district that made good decisions for all residents. No civil war present in that district and no rogue school board making stupid decisions.

This was a very pertinent article, in the USA, very recent, supposedly well maintained and regularly inspected pipelines of about 50 years of age.
