Does anyone know why 204 starts later than the other schools in the area?
203 started on the 20th
Lisle 202 and Plainfield 202 starts today
OK Oswego starts later than us on the 29th.

Does anyone know why 204 starts later than the other schools in the area? 203 started on the 20th Lisle 202 and Plainfield 202 starts today OK Oswego starts later than us on the 29th. not sure - but somehow it must be the SB's fault -- let's blame them. ;D I seem to remember years ago that we also started on like a Thursday as opposed to a Monday...but not 100% sure. |

Does anyone know why 204 starts later than the other schools in the area? 203 started on the 20th Lisle 202 and Plainfield 202 starts today OK Oswego starts later than us on the 29th. not sure - but somehow it must be the SB's fault -- let's blame them. ;D I seem to remember years ago that we also started on like a Thursday as opposed to a Monday...but not 100% sure. They all started their summers earlier as well. My kids much prefer the Wed/Thurs start to a full week like we have this year. This year will be odd with a full 5 days of a school, a 4 day weekend, and then a 3 day week. |

Just curious......I have always wondered why they did not all start at the same time, which should be that day after Labor Day. IMHO it should be a Statewide start date....oh heck...let's just make it Nationwide....  |

I heard on the radio yesterday the $ impact on the Chicago Public Schools with relation to their first day/week attendance rate. I have listeded the last few years as they have given prizes via contests - ipods and stuff - for kids who attend the first week of school. I always wondered why they could give stuff away etc-- well each 1% of attendance is worth $18M in funding to them ! Amazing |
