ALL of Owen or just Owen East? Still is already split. Owen west walks to Still. So if they split this group twice they go back on a promise. Wouldn't want to have a first for that, now would we?  |

I sat by these guys. They were pretty serious. High fiving each other and such. They said that the SB was trying to make NV minority free and was trying to push off all the minorities on WV. I'll leave it at that. Didn't want to touch that one with a ten foot pole. |

I'm sorry, I find this all so ridiculous. There's about a football field - maybe a quarter mile - that seperates Brighton Ridge from The Fields. But The Fields to MV is SANE! And Brighton Ridge to MV is RIDICULOUS! I feel ill.  As much as they try to dress it up, MV is the school nobody wants. Has anyone even mentioned the Watts area? I haven't seen a single thing typed about them. They are really being ignored.... |

Glawe thinks some fixes are possible....... mentioned universal support to move Owen and Ashwoord Park. Board seems leaning that way......... Clarke speaks....... her 2 things. Peterson split, and Owen..... Wow , this is such a surpise

Clarke agrees Owen fits in at NVHS.
M2 recommends Owen to stay at WVHS, where they are now.
Still crunching numbers...but it seems they are leaning to NVHS

Gombert. acknowledge the split, will be OK with it will do what we can to make the SD work...ready to move forward....please teach our kids. Ok I am really curious about the Gombert speaker. If speaker was from Gombert West I would say they have the same motive as the speaker from Owen East. As long as we get a close school, feel free to split us up, but please throw THEM under the bus, not US. If speaker was from Gombert East and was happy with the split ES coupled with a long commute, then I agree with the 'kudos' to that individual because that is asking a lot from one area. |
