Amazon.com is a great place to pick up cheap used copies of the kid's textbooks.
No more trips back to school, no more inability to do homework, no more 50lb back packs, no more 53degrees curve in the spine as a result thereof.
I picked up some as cheap as $4 this time around and it's in better condition than what the school issued.
