There were a ton of people there, but surprising, the turnout for the senior classes we went to were very small... Maybe parents stop doing this for upper classmen; I don't know.
It did help create the situation to have a bit more individual time with each instructor and get more information. The interactive computer board demonstration (especially in genetics w/ being able to manipulate things right on the board with molecule program they had) was awesome.
Also, it appears that is being used as a great tool to keep BlackBoard more stocked with useful information (things done on the 'board' can be easily dumped into PDFs and put in the course places on BlackBoard for future reference).
This is a great investment by the district and will really help the kids have more information at their fingertips while at home studying and doing homework.
Standing ovation on that all by itself.
Bitter sweet being the last one we'll attend at the Green Campus if things stay as planned; but it's going to be a great last year being able to get a senior out the door there and it was a good opportunity tonight to put faces to names because there will probably be a lot of that this year due to the importance of it.
