Ok, girls come back to reality . . . . . .
Bart: Hey guys, just so you don't hear any wild rumors, I'm being indicted for fraud in Australia. Homer: Pfft. That's no reason to block the TV.

If anyone has anything to add to this -- to prove or dispell the truth ,and unfortunately opinion doesn't do either, please share what you may know. Well, so far opinion is all you have gotten, so I might as well add mine. As long as everyone else is guessing, I might as well take a stab at it. If they indeed need the space to ensure the opening of the unfinished school, then it stands to reason that the offices might not be finished in time for the 08/09 partial opening. Why can't the SD admit they dropped the ball big time on this whole MV deal and put the opening off until 2010, so the kids can go to a complete school with all the facility's complete? I suppose the SD and their inflated egos will never let that happen.

Couldn't agree more- and also then plenty of time to make sure all things are the best they can be for all 204 residents - boundaries - transportation costs - sibling petitions - site safety - btw- also hearing rumblings of portables @ Young rather than tweaking those boundaries that were done -- question is why not address as it should have been - from ES thru HS ?

I am getting so confused on what is happening. Question: Where is the pre-school actually located? I thought it was split between the HC center and Wheatland school. The pre-school also has space over at Frontier - there is a sign saying 204 Prairie Preschool.

The pre-school also has space over at Frontier - there is a sign saying 204 Prairie Preschool. This is likely the 'office space' being referenced. I guess the district and the YMCA @ the Fry Property have worked out some deals for space as the Y has seen declining enrollment in their early childhood program. Also it appears as we add more admin staff there is no more room @ CEC - somove the pre school out to Fry and convert that space to offices.

Seems funny that Wheatland held 350 kids the year before it closed. You'd think it would be able to accomodate the enitre preschool program.

The majority of Wheatland is being used to house the employees, management, supplies, workshop andoffices of the districts' outside vendors ( Sodexho,Aramark etc) . Previously they we housed in a facility we were paying $10K/month to rent. This shift tookplace when the students moved to Peterson. I seem to remember this plan from before the move - however with all the high profile stuff going on-, it just happened quietly.

Prairie Preschool Annex has been moved out of Wheatland and is now housed at the Fry Properties building.

They just put in a big play yard, within the last year, adjacent to one of the exit doors... or was that for the Sodexho employees breaks??
