Neuqua art department gets award

Neuqua Valley High School's Art Department received the Illinois Alliance for Arts Education Creative Ticket Award. Neuqua is being recognized for outstanding arts education in all four arts disciplines at the awards ceremony today at the Capitol Building in Springfield.
Each year during Arts Education Week, the Illinois Alliance For Arts Education recognizes dedicated service and promotion of arts in Illinois schools.
Neuqua Valley has the opportunity to have its nomination entered as the Illinois representative to the Kennedy Center National Creative Ticket School Awards program.
