I am getting info or analysis that I have not collected or is my view. Some posters don't feel comfortable with posting under their own name and want it posted.
I am asking for advice on how to properly handle this.

I am asking for advice on how to properly handle this. Can they use a new screen name to post it? Or can you post it with a preface that it came from another user? Either would seem fine to me fwiw.

I guess you should post them with a special screenname of "anonymous".
It also makes sense that it would call for its own thread area, or else it would require way too much work for you to find the correct thread, and then post the response there.

Just make a new sequential anonymous ID each time this situation comes up. Nothing to the name, just:
anonymous1 anonymous2 anonymous3 etc.
Each 'submission' to you gets a new ID, even if they are from the same 'source'.
That seems like a fair way to handle it, IMO.

I would also suggest that if someone knows what CFO is going to pull - ads, articles, new "information" unveiled, etc. - that you think carefully about putting it on this board. CFO is clearly watching this board, and the knowledge that their plans have been made public may cause them to adjust and regroup. (gee, that'd be too bad if they had a mole, wouldn't it :-) )
But I would definitely say to forward the info on to the SB and 204thekids.
However, if you're finding more about publicly-available information that uncovers who CFO is and what their motivations are - let's have it! I've been wanting to know this for a few weeks.

Make a heresay topic...post for them...and then if anyone else reads it and want to corroborate, let them.... or I say post it with a disclaimer related to the info.
I guess it would be good to have it review by a mod 1st for content.

wvhsparent is right. You should certainly hold any posts from anonymous accounts until moderator review is completed. I don't know what information you are talking about, but for the sake of this board, you or the moderators should review all anonymous posts for libelous/confidential/etc. content.

I think we are heading that way.
