I find this to be of interest. I have heard kids say that they use different names on facebook so that their parents cannot find them! huh! Is that possible?

Steck Elementary 460 Inverness Drive Admission is Free Please RSVP to president@steckPTA.org you can search facebook by email also -- however with a free hotmail email they could set up a bogus account. kind of defeats the purpose of all of their friends finding them - Also my rule of thumb would be - I catch you going to those lengths to hide who you are - computer time is gone. Same goes if you block me from seeing even as much as intro page. Computer in my house is in my Den...I recommend it stays in a visible area...although I do not advocate standing over my child ....it's a delicate balance of privacy and safety and a fine line. Also I require my daughters passwords.....and the deal is I may never use them, but computers are mine and safety is my job as a parent. I only test the password once in a blue moon and hope that the knowledge I have it keeps some things somewhat in check, I came to the conclusion with my oldest that if they want to circumvent you they will- so building trust up front was a huge deal. They have access to others computers , cell phones - picture cameras etc...-- Funny thing is a few of my daughters friends have me as a friend on facebook
