Copied this from School Board thread as deals with the budget. winsome.cnchost.com/MAC/Final_State_Budget_Form_FY_2010.pdf (Budget Doc) winsome.cnchost.com/MAC/FY10IPSDBudgetHearingCompatibilityMode.pdf (Presentation) winsome.cnchost.com/MAC/PMAProjections12-8-08.pdf (PMA Projections from 12/2008) Interesting line item page 2, line 34. Principal on Bonds Sold. Capital Projects Fund (60). $13,120,000. $8,120,000 is the final part of 06 referendum proceeds and $5m is proceeds from debt certificates (hmmm ...gonna have to check into this one. In the meantime, if we take the $124.66 million from the referendum and the $17m taken from our back pocket, that is $141.66 million MV Budget without adding the proceeds from above. More to look at here. As for transportation, projected higher by about $650K or about 5%. Certainly inflation doesn't account for 5%. More to look at here as well.

Copied this from the School Board thread as well. winsome.cnchost.com/MAC/ --->then click on the spreadsheet --> D204BudgetAnalysis9_14_2009.xls This shows the increase in expenses in FY 2010 over the prior year on line 37 and below that you can see an example of growth of the Education Expense using a rate of 3% increase per year (this shows the exponential growth (or increasing expense)
