Its fair to guess it would happen shortly after the condemnation is resolved - if it goes in BB's favor. I would have to respectfully disagree with you on that point. The money used to purchase that 25 acres came from two places - land cash donations from developers and money from the 2001 referendum to be used for a new middle school. Is this part of the problem from BB's standpoint? Does a middle school vs. a high school change anything? Even if it goes in BBs favor and we can't purchase the remaining 55 acres, I don't see the district selling the property back for 2 reasons - - we may eventually need it for another ES or MS; and hopefully we have many many years to do that (I didn't see that the agreement was exclusive to putting a HS there.) - I believe 124 Mil is enough to buy a different full 80 acres and build a school So do I. Why are we overpaying and waiting for this property?

I thought I was boldfacing my questions, but they're hard to read. When we purchased the 25 acres the district said they were building a middle school - now it's a high school and we need 80acres. Is this a sticking point for BB somehow and the reason for some of the recent developments?
And if $124 million is enough for another 80 acres and a school, why are we stuck on BB? The "we might sell WVHS someday" argument sounds weak.

ED - that's a pretty big accusation and one that could be of legal consequences to you. Bring it on Are you ready to rumble? Are you with the Mob?

I don't think we would sell WVHS. Even with 8100 kids we would run 3 HS at 90% of optimal capacity.
I believe they would sell Still and turn NV gold into a MS.

Bob, again, please let ED speak for himself or are you one in the same? Come to think of it, you are beginning to sound a lot like Stinks or even MM since I heard he posts on this board. Are you one of them? I can speak for bob, he is not Stinks, MM, or me. Also, M2 does not post on this board. As for bob speaking for me, I'm fine with that, we are of a similar mindset and I would trust him do so anytime. He definitely is not a CRAFTy fellow I too must speak up for bob...he is none of the people you mentioned

I am sorry I meant Granger
From DPC post in the DH/CV interview thread
Finally, I've lived in the WV attendance area for 15 years and have two children in MS at Granger.
DPC, you know too much about the SD to not know who Kathy is.

Didn't any of you notice CV is listed right along with all the other SB members on the open meetings act violation case? Do you think if she was helping the defense they would name her in a suit? We should be very careful in what we write and speak -- rheotoric versus facts versus accusations. Do you think they would exclude her from the suit if she were helping them? No better way to say thanks for selling your school district down the river than by suing every other member of the board but her. That wouldn't raise any questions at all. Everybody would just assume that she was the lone exception because of....her fabulous oratory skills?

This thread is getting a bit stressed. In the interest of levity… Can anyone rumble with ED? Will Bob join in? and what’s your medium of choice….mud or jello? If I challenge - do I have to wear a bikini?

Everybody would just assume that she was the lone exception because of....her fabulous oratory skills? To that I would ask a question with a question: Do you think BB would risk burning any bridges and the case if this were even remotely true? My question: Who are they burning bridges with?

If I challenge - do I have to wear a bikini? You know, I've been feeling like I'm a pretty boring guy as of late, and this just proves it. I don't know what you do on weekends. We usually just do yardwork and then try to fix all the things our kids have broken.

Sorry I have to ask...who is Kathy Nguyen. That name sounds familiar but <scratching head> I can't figure out why She is/was a CFO heavy weight. Was quoted in the paper during the referendum. She wanted us to move the middle schoolers back into the ES. You know....Bob's one room school house concept. ;D BTW-I miss Stinks. Now that the ref is over....I guess he's getting ready to write that big check to Benet.
