Hmm... 2 months have passed since the referendum passed, and we're already talking about the land (and the boundaries) falling through? Yes, seems maybe a wee bit cynical to me. Or is it that some don't want to face the music? CFO to the core. The SD loses on two small motions. You find this out and try to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Bob, call me crazy if you want, but things don't look so good with BB. What's the backup plan? We're crowded, remember?

Ari is becoming more powerful by the minute. Perhaps he should run for school board or mayor or maybe president or maybe King of the Universe! ;D

Er... wait a minute - we don't know yet who made the gigantic offer for the BB property. Oh, and in regards to running for sb, he just picks up applications for his slate of candidates, he doesn't actually run... Anti-referendum slate seeks District 204 seats; Twelve to compete for five spots on board of education Naperville Sun, The (IL) January 24, 2001 Author: Melissa Franic Five people running as a slate backed by a group opposed to February's tax referendum questions filed nominating papers one minute before Tuesday's 5 p.m. deadline for the Indian Prairie District 204 school board. Leslie Zogheib, Victoria Lynn, Linda Wilkins and Edward Harvey are running for the four four-year terms available. Randy Haap is running for a two-year position, the unexpired term of former board President Joycelyn Hafstad. They will join seven others on the ballot for school board seats. The five candidates are affiliated with WE CARE 2, an anti-referendum group spearheaded by District 204 residents Scott McKibbin and Ari Rosenthal.

You acting like this is doomed. This is a lawsuit. It takes time to wind through the issues. It is not like we are not getting the land. They are debating the price that will be set. Calling doom over two small issues is way off base. Do you understand that the case isn't about getting the land but what is the fair price of the land?
Keep on throwing crap against the wall.

Bob, you must have really little kids because it's clear you don't give a hoot about kids currently in the system. How long are we going to wait around for this land? Ridiculous.

But aren't we overcrowded NOW? How can we wait to secure the land if our kids are eating lunch at 9 AM? Not sure if you know this but this lawsuit could be tied up in the courts for years, not months. Doesn't that concern you in the least?

Cause we all know that the trial is never going to end.
It will take years? Can you explain your logic behind this?

That was sarcasm. I still would like to see your reasoning behind that it will take years.

That was sarcasm. I still would like to see your reasoning behind that it will take years. Where are the assurances that it won't? And what happens in the meantime?
