So how does everyone feel that a important piece of Macom land is in unincorporated Will County? www.naperville.il.us/citymaps.aspxWill County sheriff and who knows what fire district covers that part. I think this hurts Macom's land from being a good replacement for BB.

Zoning, you will notice that that land is not in Naperville. Heck it might even be in Oswego.

If Naperville does not bring in this parcel of land, it will not provide water or sewage to any building in this parcel.
Please, also notice that the strip of land where the power lines lie, is NOT in Naperville.

It is unicorporated right now. I sure it is on the planning books to be incorporated into Naperville.
It's not a big deal. FWIW most of where all the homes are in Will now was unincorp. at 1st.
Aero Estates is still unincorporated.
In some ways it could be seen as a plus...no city taxes.....
