I just checked the online poll and it shows: Yes (reconsider the site) 1697 votes (63%) No 988 votes (36%) Nice try, but there are not 1697 builders in this area. It seems clear there are plenty of people who think BB should be reconsidered!!! When you really step back and think about it, it's shocking that they wouldn't consider something else at this point. How long will we wait and what will we pay for BB??? And you sincerely believe that this e-mail chain has not made it way long out of 204 at this point ? And we will still likely pay far less than the $334K per acre this property costs ( just as starters) but yet that seems acceptable ? Why? ?

If you liked the results, you'd all be singing a different song!
I guess you can quit telling me I'm in the minority. (or accusing me of being a builder or with Craft, or whatever)

Lacy, it doesn't matter what the results are. A builder, his subcontractors and probably their employees are sending this email all over the state and for all we know the country. The results are useless.
As well, a good portion of the 204 population wasn't asked, Aurora. But then those who mattered were asked, right? (Sarcasm directed squarely at the Naperville Sun, its editors and reporters).

BTW the Naperviile Sun has NEVER PUBLISHED AN ACCURATE MAP OR AN ACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF THE MV SCHOoL SITE.
I think that it is a joke when they turn around and poll people on how they feel about the location.

(or accusing me of being a builder or with Craft, or whatever) And if you had similar information that 204thekids or PTA's or anyone had done exactly the same thing and sent this all over telling people to vote No - ( without giving any backup as to why) - and the vote was reversed you'd be ranting about a JC - HC conspiracy and what-not, so please. The poll has long since been compromised and is so flawed from the beginning ( not including 1/2 of 204 people and not limiting to 204 people) - how can anyone be part of a majority or minority. The results are meaningless. If only 204 voters were allowed to vote, then you could claim that, but it is not even close to the case.

We as Aurora citizens are giving up our land, not to benefit us but to benefit Naperville. Again, we get screwed. (no offense to Naperville Citizens)

On top of it all, this builder has the audacity to forward a packet of whatever to Springfield to muddy the waters for the quick-take. Talk about being in it all for himself. Macom is trying to bully the district into giving Macom what it wants, and it starts with "anything but Waubonsie."

I read this on an Aurora blog ( again, these are not my opinions) but I will summarize this as follows: They want to keep Neuqua "rich" and "lilly white" and they will build the new high school to buffer the low income and minority students from getting into Neuqua. This is what the blogger basically states and this is what Macom is basically saying.

But, I don't see any verbage in the online poll that limited votes to those who live in Naperville. In my opinion, many may be concerned with the lack of progess on the BB land. Many that voted in favor of the referendum did not anticipate that the legal proceedings would be as tedious as they have been.

And why would people "all over the state" care? They don't. Saying the results are surely tainted, etc. is all just "spin".
