Warriorpride This is really a more important issue to me than where the school ends up. A perfect example of where this plays out would be the dialog on this board. I don't have the answer on how to solve what's occurred. But it does concern me deeply. I wish I had the answer to what could be done. But I don't. Other than a few radicals, which you can never fully get rid of, I don't that I've seen north vs. south dialog on this board. You you? If so, please provide examples. Note: pointing out where a person lives (subdivision or general location) and then disagreeing with their opinion and/or questioning their motives is not an example of being divisive, IMHO. It just seems that some are so quick to take things as a "slam" against WVHS. I think that's really unproductive and I actually think it's harmful to WVHS. It perpetuates the whole thing.

Rather than just looking at open land, one should look at potential buy/flatten places too.
I wonder if there are some owners who would want to sell out empty buildings/warehouses and land by the Rt59 station or up by Diehl or on Eola

Arch-I have posted that question before. Why not look at open buildings?

(Zoned Residential) I wonder what the "offer was for that parcel? Apparently there was one made to the SB, but they never disclosed it.

Arch-I have posted that question before. Why not look at open buildings? Because you can't retro fit a office building into a high school. Tellabs is not empty.

Are any of those commercial lots empty? If they are I think we should brace ourselves for more students because that land would be extremely desirable if it were zoned residential.

Ok, it's good to be clear about it, rather than obscure references.
As I recall, the curch wanted money for the land, AND the SD to buy/provide another 80-acre plot to them (which just gives you the same problem again)

Online poll results as of 9am 1/26:
Yes 42% 1,761
No 57% 2,385
LOTS of No votes since yesterday! Seems fishy!

Lehigh went for how much an acre? More than Macom wants?

I wonder if it's possible that this poll can be tampered with? That poll was as scientific as the one in this article: www.suburbanchicagonews.com/napervillesun/news/230238,6_1_NA26_GAP_S1.article The parents of this homely baby enlisted the help of overseas relatives to stuff the ballot box. (Just kidding about the homely part.)
