My "best moments":
Page 3. # 10 - The M2 quote to Britt Carson of the hail mary pass and using it to keep BB on the hook while other options are pursued. Looks like that just cost us additional damages and legal fees.
Page 3 #12 - BB says that the 2.5MM in damages to the remainder is already baked into the PREIT deal and they will seek it no matter if the district buys BB or abandons.
Page 3&4 #13 - BB is seeking additional penalties due to the hail mary pass.
Page 4 #15. Confirmation of legal fees between 4 and 5 million (and growing every day). Additional confirmation BB wants the 2.5MM in damage to the remainder even if the SD abandons. Also looking for additional penalties (Winkelman) due to the hail mary pass and the Britt Carson article.
Page 5 #20 & 21 And a personal favorite - The district has been negotiating with PREIT all along to make this happen - so much for a boycott.

The second I read this in the paper I couldn't believe he said that. It was like a taunt. Regardless of what you think of them, at this point they have a right to do whatever they want with their land if we aren't going to use it. |

My gosh - I couldnt stomach reading the whole thing. It's almost like the BB lawyers want to force us to buy BB. Sure seems like thay have the SD cornered - they probably do, since they know that they can't get that price on the open market. I don't see how this could be more fouled up (I probably shouldn't say that, though).

I don't see how this could be more fouled up (I probably shoudln't say that, tho). imo they absolutely want to force us to buy the entire property. They turned down our offer to buy - what - 20 acres? |

Yes, the one that will cost us 2.5 million in damage to the remainder, plus potential additional legal fees and damages if they loose, even if we never buy a piece of Brach Brody. This, of course has not been decided yet, but given the district's track record of wins... |
