I was just watching Oprah. Her topic was "Going Green". A Northern site is definitely not the most efficient choice transportation-wise, and would cause a permanent, unnecessary waste of our natural resources.

On a serious note though, I do hope the SB is thinking long and hard about traffic and transit issues. Eola is a mess and it's not going to get better. Look at how busy it is now during am rush hour and then think about putting a new school up the road from WVHS. How is all the traffic going to fit on Eola? |

On a serious note though, I do hope the SB is thinking long and hard about traffic and transit issues. Eola is a mess and it's not going to get better. Look at how busy it is now during am rush hour and then think about putting a new school up the road from WVHS. How is all the traffic going to fit on Eola? Not saying you are right or wrong it is just that I heard these same arguments for BB. Rte. 59 is way to busy and crowded and dangerous for our teenagers. |

Yeah, we dont want barack wasting his free time these days in washington at the senate representing Illinois.  I think we can probably assume they will need to reduce the green plans for Metea at this point in the budget issue. We probably lost the driving range on the roof a while ago. |

We probably lost the driving range on the roof a while ago. They left that off of NVHS last time. I think it was the line item after the underwater speaker system ;D. Maybe it can be added to the 09 Referendum! |

Add in the potential interchange on 88 and it will be worse than 59. that's okay though, I hear they're building a subway system from central 204 to the northern site to get us there in less than 45 - 50 minutes.  |
