everything else may be in an uproar but we WILL have the bus situation under control... ;D
From Hill newsletter today: --
BUS PASSES
Students, if you come in to get a bus pass for the afternoon you will need to sign in. All without an ID will now follow the step system:
1. Warning
2. Detention
3. ISD
4. Bus suspension
Any questions see Mrs. Stoehrmann

I just don't get this whole bus pass thing. If your kid rides the bus everyday - your bus driver should know who they are. I can see a kid they don't know. Or a new bus driver, but otherwise it's completely pointless. Also, there is no consistency at our school. Some make you show it, some don't care. Who is this protecting? How is it protecting the students? Should bus drivers be responsible for giving our kids detentions??? Is this really worth a detention? What is the point? I think I will call the bus lady and ask her.

Yes - I've experienced her particular brand of "communication"...
