Just saw a listing for MVHS whereby 127 kids of the class total of 581 were a 3.8 GPA or higher .
I have never looked at it broken down like this before but doesn't that (22%) seem awfully high ? I hope that GPA translates to ACT scores, because that should be very very high.

After thinking about it, decided my last post just a rehash of older posts, so I pulled it down. Sorry to waste anyone's time

Sorry to waste anyone's time missed it and yeah, that sometimes happens -- but sometimes one has to restate things as they apply to new situations. Always remember no one here is going to reprimand you, or tell you to let it go....because IMHO that's how we got this far down the path over the years..letting the past go.

Isn't that how the SD designed it?? I thought that was how the MV boundaries were decided?
Wasn't there something recently that was posted about the top 25% of NVHS was a 3.7 and WVHS 3.5?
There are lots of honors classes FR/SO years. The early years are when you can pump up the GPA...maybe that has something to do with it.
I'm curious given the difference between the final schedules at WV and NV what is the final schedule like at MV?

Never mind, I saw the finals schedule in the other thread. I don't know how I feel about it. I didn't even have a finals week when I was in high school. Sometimes I feel they put too much pressure on these kids and that the four day schedule is more reasonable. I would like my NVer to have that four day schedule.

What's the unweighted GPA of each school? That's how any college is going to look at a student's grades anyway.
