According to the DuPage County state's attorney's office, Popejoy has been charged with failure to give information after hitting an unattended motor vehicle, reckless driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Prosecutors said that at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Popejoy crashed into an unattended vehicle on Ridgewood Avenue in Glen Ellyn. Popejoy left the scene of the crash, drove to his Wheaton home and parked his car in his garage, prosecutors said.Glen Ellyn and Wheaton police officers investigated the crash and ticketed Popejoy at his home, prosecutors said. The state's attorney's office was notified about the crash Thursday. Popejoy was originally charged with local ordinance violations, but will now be prosecuted by the state's attorney's office. Popejoy was elected circuit judge in 2004. He is currently serving in the law division, which deals primarily with arbitration, eminent domain and small claims cases. He has been a lawyer since 1977.

Don't know, but I'm pretty sure it's a lot lighter than drunk driving. Nice job Ken, ya got off. I wonder how many voters will know/remember come election time.
