We have 2 out of 2 with schedules not right, but the problems don't seem to be anything that's not fixable.

What classes weren't offered? If there weren't enough students signed up, then obviously they might not offer that class. It appears the problems are such: 1/ schedules mailed to wrong people 2/ Chinese 3 was listed as Chinese 2 3/ Physics - was supposed to get honors- got regular ? 4/ other issues I don't have detailed explanations of other than somehow the schedule was wrong for lunch and one English class, theatre arts most errors they believe to be more typographical ( they hope) than anything else

I don't understand. The HSs have two guidance counselors and a secretary for each grade level. With approx 650 per class, can't the counselors check each students schedule before they go out? Don't they work during the summer?

Don't they work during the summer? Perhaps they are in 3, 6-hour meetings a week to brainstorm for ways to use time more efficiently. ;D

The class selections were made last January! We called in the beginning of April to make a change and were turned down cold "no changes". Now I know if I had made a big enough fuss, they would've backed down. but that's not the point. The question is "how many admins does it take to screw in a light bulb?" They have had six months to figure probably at least 90% of the students schedules. Are they using the bus route software or what?

I have been calling the SD the last three weeks concerning a school transfer request we made last spring. At this point we still don't know where he will be attending. When I call they are always at meetings.
